Analisa Perhitungan Biaya Pekerjaan Elektrikal dan Elektronik Pada Proyek Pembangunan Alix Residence Blok B - Jalan Dutamas Raya, Segambut, Mukim Batu, Wilayah Persekutuan, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

This report presents the results of an internship at PKT Quantity Surveying
Consultant Sdn. Bhd., a construction consulting company located in Plaza Mont
Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The internship lasted for 95 days, from April 28 to
July 31, 2025, as part of the curriculum of the Quantity SurveyingStudy Program,
Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, Hatta University. The main objective of
the internship is to integrate academic theory with professional practice in the field
of Quantity Surveying as well as improve technical and analytical competencies
relevant to the world of construction work.
During the internship, the author was involved in various activities, including
quantity measurement with CostX, preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ),
calculation of Concrete Usage Index (CUI), preparation of variation orders,
communication with suppliers for quotations, and field evaluations on large-scale
projects such as Logistic Hub @Padang Java GVL and Sime Darby Factory. Some
of the projects worked on include Park Royal Hotel, Menara CIMB KL Sentral,
UOB Plaza 2, Gravit8 Phase 4, and Alix Residence Block B.
The use of software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Glodon, and CostX
helps improve work efficiency, measurement accuracy, and the quality of technical
reports. The internship results showed significant improvements in understanding
construction cost management, contract administration, and data-driven decisionmaking. This report is expected to be an academic and professional reference for
the development of Quantity Surveyor competencies and provide a comprehensive
overview of challenges, solutions, and best practices in the implementation of
construction projects.
